Barefoot as a contemporary footwear phenomenon

Barefoot shoes have these 3 main features. The goal is to mimic walking barefoot as much as possible, but still be wearing shoes. According to many users, a big advantage is that thanks to the wide toe, the fingers have a lot of freedom and can thus develop better and thus function more naturally.

In order to support the natural function of the foot, barefoot shoes have a thin sole, or popularly known as a sole. A complete barefoot is 3mm thick and thanks to this the nerve endings can send the brain very precise sensations from the surface you are walking on. In practice, you can feel every pebble and walking is a completely new experience for you.

Why zero drop? It's about the heel and the toe being the same height, the shoe doesn't even have a tiny heel. This affects the overall posture. Simply put, when someone who is used to high heels and wears sneakers, they suddenly feel as if they are falling backwards. When he has zero drop, it makes him walk differently. He can't stomp as much because the shoe doesn't have enough mass in the heel to cushion the impact.

Thanks to this, the barefoot user has a much more natural gait and treads more over the entire surface.
