We operate an e-shop on the website www.jancarikshoes.cz

We process some personal data for the sale of goods and the operation of our website.

The processing of personal data is regulated in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in connection with the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and on the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation personal data) ("GDPR")

I. Processing of personal data

If you buy from us, we will work with the data you fill in for us. These are mainly invoicing data: name, surname, address, e-mail, telephone number.

We need to process personal data to fulfill our contract - to deliver our goods to you. We will also communicate with you via the contact details regarding the status of your order, possibly regarding complaints or your questions.

We will continue to process personal data to fulfill our obligations arising from the law (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, possibly for processing complaints, etc.).

We process personal data on the basis of Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b) GDPR – fulfillment of the contract and Article 6 paragraph 1 letter c) GDPR – fulfillment of our legal obligation.

We will process your data for the duration of our service and then 10 years after the last provision of such service or delivery of goods.

Newsletters (commercial communications)

If you are a shopping customer and have opted-in to receive marketing communications, we will use your email address to send our newsletters.

We are allowed to do so under Section 7, Paragraph 3 of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services, if you did not prohibit us from doing so during the purchase.

We will process your data for 10 years from your last purchase. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time via e-mail or contact us by e-mail: tomas@jancarikshoes.cz

II. Who gets access to the data?

Your data will remain with us. Nevertheless, some companies or other persons work for us and get access to the data because they help us run our e-shop. They are:

  • operator of the Shopify e-shop platform (Shopify International Ltd., Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32 Ireland)
  • company participating in the shipment of goods (Česká pošta, sp: CZ47114983)
  • company participating in the shipment of goods (Zásilkovna s.r.o.: CZ47114983)
  • company participating in the shipment of goods (Balíkobot, s.r.o.: CZ06283799)
  • companies participating in the forwarding of payments (GOPAY s.r.o.: CZ26046768)
  • e-mailing service provider
  • notification email provider
Your personal data may also reach the following other entities:
  • Fakturoid s.r.o. (Fakturoid s.r.o., V Pláni 532/7 142 00 Prague – Lhotka, ID 04656679, VAT number CZ04656679, jsem@fakturoid.cz ) for the purpose of generating and sending invoices and purchase satisfaction questionnaires within the Verified by customers program

III. Your rights in connection with the processing of personal data

The GDPR regulation gives you, among other things, the right to contact us and ask for information about how we process your personal data, to request access to this data from us and have it updated or corrected, or to request a restriction of processing, you can request a copy of the processed personal data, request us in certain situations erasure of personal data and in certain cases you have the right to their portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

If you think that we are not handling the data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with Office for the Protection of Personal Data , or take your claims to court.
